I grew up in the small town of Acworth, New Hampshire, USA. I have a BS in Computer Science which was hard-won from St. Lawrence University in the frigid north of NY state. I'm fluent in Spanish thanks to my studies throughout high school and university, and multiple trips to Spain. Academia has helped develop my interest in technology, art, and languages, and to discover ways to combine them. I've been intrigued by web design since high school, when I created my first webpage with MS Frontpage. Later in college I taught myself how to use Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator. I've been happy in front end web development ever since.
I worked for two advertising agencies between 2009 and 2012, when I realized I had the means and skills to start my own web design business. It's been a highly rewarding experience to meet business owners in all types of industries. Winterglow continually challenges me to expand my skills and to stay abreast of new technology.
My other interests include music, nature, photography, traveling, sewing, cooking, and learning not to take life too seriously. Nature and music are my biggest inspirations.
